We start in Oceanside Harbor and cruise while you enjoy drinks (BYOB), good company and friendly wildlife. We will have an ice chest and cruise-ready drinkware ready for you when you get here. Feel free to bring anything you may want to drink or snack on.

Meet Aperitivo
Aperitivo is a Marshall 27 shore boat that was originally part of an 11-boat fleet commissioned by the Catalina Company and built in Costa Mesa in the mid-’60s.
She spent the first 45 years of her life known as shore boat number 6, transporting vacationers and yachtsmen around the Avalon and Two Harbors Bay areas.
At this time, we believe there are only five of these vessels left in operation. One more in San Diego, two in Newport Beach and one in the yard in Avalon.
A good friend found her on a mooring ball in Avalon, Catalina in May of 2022. After an extensive refit, she will spend the next 45 years serving friends and family in Oceanside Harbor.

Wildlife sightings are one of the highlights of every trip. It's common to see California sea lions resting on docks, harbor seals swimming nearby, pelicans diving for fish, great blue herons, cormorants, egrets, and many other coastal birds. Dolphins are occasionally spotted near the harbor entrance, and depending on the season, you may even see migrating whales offshore.
Because wildlife is completely natural, every cruise offers a slightly different experience.
How long is the cruise?

Our scenic harbor cruises are designed to provide plenty of time to relax, take photos, enjoy the scenery, and learn about Oceanside Harbor without taking up your entire day.
Cruise times vary by tour, but most guests find the experience the perfect length for families, couples, and visitors exploring Oceanside. We recommend arriving approximately 20–30 minutes before departure to allow time for parking and boarding.
Is Oceanside Harbor worth visiting?

Absolutely! Oceanside Harbor is considered one of the hidden gems of North San Diego County. Unlike larger commercial harbors, Oceanside offers a relaxed coastal atmosphere with waterfront restaurants, local shops, beaches, walking paths, sport fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding and beautiful views.
Many visitors explore Harbor Village before or after taking a scenic cruise. The harbor is also one of the best places in Oceanside for watching wildlife, photographing sunsets and enjoying the Southern California coastline.
A harbor cruise allows visitors to experience the marina from a perspective that simply isn't possible from shore.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes! Dogs are welcome on our cruises, making Cruise Oceanside Harbor one of the few pet-friendly boating experiences in the area.
If you're traveling with your four-legged family member, we recommend bringing water, a leash, and anything your dog may need during the cruise. We do have boat-ready dog bowls on board. If you have questions about your specific reservation, feel free to contact us before booking.
